Dartsee is a rapidly growing independent tech company creating innovative interactive dartboard solutions for bars, hotels, and family entertainment centers.You’ll operate and scale a globally distributed fleet of 1500+ Linux-based edge devices, running in unreliable real-world environments (bars, hotels, entertainment venues), connected to AWS infrastructure.

Why this role exists
As Dartsee scales, we’re expanding our infrastructure and need a Senior Reliability Engineer to ensure system stability and reduce support issues. This role focuses on enhancing system resiliency, improving observability, and implementing proactive solutions to ensure smooth operations across a distributed environment of 1500+ Debian Linux PCs. You will optimise tooling, identify potential failures, and improve reliability before they affect our clients.

What you’ll do

Reliability & Operations

Monitor and improve system resilience across distributed edge devices

Diagnose and resolve production issues across edge + cloud stack

Infrastructure & Tooling

Build observability pipelines (logs, metrics, alerting)

Design safe deployment/update systems (especially for Linux + drivers)

Improve automation with strong guardrails and auditability

Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex production issues across the full stack

Collaboration

Support customer operations team on escalated technical issues
